The filter function in polumana allows you to save filter settings. This enables you to quickly call up frequently used selections.
Please note that saved filters are user-specific, i.e. filters that you create in POLUMANA® are only available to you. Just like your personal favourites in a web browser.
CREATE YOUR OWN FILTER
- Open an application with a filter option. In this exercise example, we will use the ‘Items’ application.
2. Tap on the filter symbol.
A filter without saved filters is displayed.

Now we filter all items that begin with ‘110’ so that only these items are displayed.
3) Enter the following in the ‘Item no.’ filter field: 110 and then tap ‘Show’.
All items beginning with ‘110’ will now be displayed.
We would now like to save this filter setting.
4. To do this, tap the filter symbol again and then tap the ‘+’ symbol.
A window will now appear.
5) Enter a name in the ‘Filter’ field. For example ‘110 item’ and tap on ‘Save’

This filter is now saved. Try it out. Tap on ‘Reset’ in the filter. All items are now displayed again. Now tap on the newly created filter. Only items starting with ‘110’ will be displayed.
- Tap on the ‘pencil symbol’ in the box of your filter.
You will now see further options for editing the filter.
- Delete filter
- Rename filter using ‘Edit’
- Set filter as favourite. This makes sense if you have several filters for an application and this filter should be displayed first.
